Azealia Banks ställer in sin spelning på Uddevalla Solid Sound

Azealia Banks har under flera års tid spelat rollen som den elaka karaktären som bokar in spelningar i Sverige men sedan ställer in dem. Nu har det skett igen – och den här gången lyckas hon kombinera två roller på en och samma gång. Anledningen till att hon ställer in sin headline-spelning på Uddevalla Solid Sound är nämligen att hon fått jobb i Hollywood. Vi testar om något år igen! Om någon vågar! Fjärde gången gillt!

Banks skriver själv i ett pressmeddelande om situationen:

”As many of you may have heard, I have been offered the starring role in a Lionsgaate film that starts production the end of this month. I love the role and script and think it’s going to be an amazing movie. To be given the chance to work with such an incredible team of people and to play a lead role in my first Hollywood movie was something I had to say yes to. My only regret is that I now have to cancel my two Scandinavian dates which conflict with the filming. Please know that if I had my own way, I’d be able to do both, but unfortunately production dates cannot be rescheduled (trust me, I tried!). I hope all of my Scandinavian fans understand and support my decision to take this opportunity, but please know that I will return AS SOON as I am able to and cannot wait to play for you.”
