Kanye West vill jobba med James Blake

Kanye har kontaktat James Blake för gemensam musik. 

Alla vill jobba med James Blake. Ungefär så är läget. Den brittiska stjärnan har styrt sin kosa mot Los Angeles där han numera flyttat in under gemensamt tak med ingen mindre än Chance the Rapper. Förhoppningsvis mynnar det ut i fler nya samarbeten. Men det kan bli fler intressanta samarbeten för James Blake – Kanye West har nämligen kontaktat honom för ett samarbete. Blake bekräftar fallet och att han inte är något fan av att samarbete från olika platser i en intervju med Rolling Stones Magazine.

”I have been in contact with him… You know, the way that I like to work is bare bones and personal. I think because Kanye’s such an accomplished producer, if I was to work with him, then I think we could do something together, and just together, you know?”

Och det kommer ett hiphop-samarbete, men han väljer att vara förtegen om det är Kanye, Chance eller Drake som blir hans partner in crime.

”People ask me so much about it, but really up until this point, I haven’t had any time to act on any impulse, so all I can say is we’ll see and watch this space but there’s things coming. I’m really excited. My monotonous tone of voice won’t show you that, but I’m excited.”
