LYSSNA: The National, Courtney Barnett och The War on Drugs gör covers på Grateful Dead

Hyllningsalbumet ges ut senare i vår.

The Nationals Aaron Dessner har kuraterat ett hyllningsalbum till det amerikanska kultbandet Grateful Dead. En samling som består av hela 59 tolkningar. The National själva tolkar klassikern Mountain Dew, The War on Drugs gör sin version av Tough of Grey, Courtney Barnett tolkar Speedway Boogie och Bon Ivers Justin Vernon och Jenny Lewis tar sig an Black Muddy River – och dessa fyra covers går att förhandslyssna på nedan.

En lång rad andra artister och band kommer att bidra, bland andra ANOHNI, Real Estate, The Tallest Man On Earth, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The Flaming Lips, The Walkmen och Bill Callahan. Albumet ges ut den 20 maj för ändamål till HIV/AIDS-organisationen Red Hot.
