The Smiths ”The Queen Is Dead” tidernas bästa album

NME listar tidernas 500 bästa album.

Den brittiska tidsskriften NME är lite utav ett monument inom brittisk musik  och i veckans nummer som finns i tidningshyllorna i dag, Sverige får dock vänta tills nästa vecka, väljer de att lista tidernas 500 bästa album. Allra högst upp hamnar Manchesterbandet The Smiths album The Queen Is Dead från 1986 följt av The Beatles, David Bowie, Pulp, The Stone Roses och Pixies.

Och bland nordiska musikskatter är det Björks Debut som placerar sig allra högst på plats 46 och det bästa svenska bidraget står Fever Ray för med plats 222.
