Zola Jesus släpper album med B-sidor och remixer

Är även aktuell med två Sverigespelningar.

Zola Jesus släppte sitt senaste album Okovi förra året, och nu utannonserar Wisconsin-artisten att en samling av remixer och B-sidor från albumet är på väg. Okovi: Additions släpps den 4 april, och en försmak i form av singeln Bound har redan landat. Bound är en iskall, mörk och gotisk poplåt, som om något lägger betoningen på pop i större grad än låtarna på Okovi. Zola Jesus säger följande om skivan:

“These four new songs were intended to be on Okovi. Each of them represents a snapshot of my journey in making the record, and are just as precious to me as the songs that made it onto the final track listing. The remixes are beloved in their own way, as most were born from organic circumstances, and have drawn the original songs into completely new atmospheres.”

Zola Jesus är även aktuell med två Sverigespelningar i vår. 18 april spelar hon på Nefertiti i Göteborg, och 19 april på festivalen Inkonst i Malmö.
