BBC har släppt dokumentär om kvinnors roll i musikindustrin

På BBC Radio 1 sändes programmet Where Are the Women in Music? – ett samtal mellan Annie Mac och Ellie Rowsell från hyllade gruppen Wolf Alice. Samtalet är en spinn-off till nyligen arrangerade Women of the World Festival och tar sin grund i den rådande obalansen på festivalscenen. Siffran i Sverige är ett par snäpp bättre än hur det ser ut runt om i Europa. Även om 74 % mansdominerande band på den svenska festivalscenen inte är något att skryta om. Fördelningen är närmre 86 % i exempelvis Storbritannien. Ett par utdrag från dokumentären finns nedan, samt hela programmet som du hittar här.
