Biffy Clyro jobbar på ny musik

Planerar ett nytt album till nästa år.

Biffy Clyro har med varje skiva tagit ytterligare ett kliv högre upp i den brittiska gitarr-hierarkin och närmar sig dess topp. Albumet Opposites blev ett naturligt steg på vägen där deras gitarrer riktades mot skyarna. Det skotska bandet arbetar för fullt med en uppföljare och har redan nu kommit en bra bit på vägen.

”I’ve written about 14 songs so far. We’re kind of doing some demos of them at the moment. The fact that the ball is rolling on this record is very exciting, I think we’ll look to record it maybe the start of next year, possibly out for the end of next year.”

I samtalet med radiostationen XFM berättar bandet som i år headlinear festivaler som Isle of Wight och T in the Park i sommar om inspelningsprocessen.

”To me making a record, it’s an ongoing process. You might not be ready to record it in a couple of months but the creativity and the evolution of the band, it picks up exactly where it left off.”
