DJ fick böter när han spelade ”Fuck the Police” inför poliser

N.W.A.-klassiker upprör. 

Det låter smått absurt att DJ:n DJ Boogy fick sota för sin musiksmak, men det är sant. Kashawn Harris som han egentligen heter spelade en gammal klassiker av N.W.A., ingen mindre än Fuck the Police, och detta i samband med att polisen gjorde en razzia mot en bar i Massachusetts i oktober förra året. Nu har domen fallit och Kashawn Harris får böta 50 dollar för förargelseväckande beteende.

Ur polisrapporten finns följande att läsa:

”I believed at that time the combination of alcohol, the excessive amount of people in the bar and the song that the DJ chose to play at that time was an intentional act by the DJ to incite the crowd [that] showed a reckless disregard for public safety.”

I baren uppges det vid tidpunkten ha vistats över 350 personer när den egentliga kapaciteten ligger kring 170.
