Grimes släpper nytt i höst

Nya albumet släpps förhoppningsvis i höst. 

Grimes har varit i ropet på sistone. Det har inte bara handlat om musiken utan även kändisskapets baksidor har berörts: hennes öppna och ärliga brev fick många att se bortom glamouren. Consequence of Sound skriver att hennes nya album förväntas redan i höst och att hon spelar in albumet i sitt hem och är sin egen producent. Sedan innan har vi skrivit att hon nästan nått halvvägs, men inte riktigt, samt att det blir ett Enya-inspirerat album.

Men i dag delar Grimes med sig av en video till Venus in Fleurs från debuten Geidi Primes.

”Hey — this is a video my friend Video Marsh made for this really old Grimes song from my first record.  We were supposed to release it ages ago and somehow it didn’t happen probably because it didn’t comply with the press cycle at the time and since I’ve stopped caring about complying with press cycles im sharing this now.

This is the only post-genesis official grimes video that i didn’t work on myself that will ever be released .   it’s a different vibe entirely as you can see.  i think it’s very very beautiful and haunting and peaceful and scary
