Hurts jobbar på sitt tredje album

Uppföljaren till Exile är påbörjad.

Manchesterduon Hurts följer stadens spår av New Wave och synthmattor, med två album i ryggen har Hurts skapat kommersiellt gångbar synthpop som stundtals bottnar i Depeche Modes ljudregister. I en intervju med Gigwise talar sångaren tillika omslagspojken Theo Hutchcraft ut: ” We’ve started writing songs, but there’s a variety of paths that we can go down.”

Och den här gången kommer vi inte behöva vänta allt för länge förklarar Theo:

”It’s definitely not going to be as long a wait this time, we want to keep working. The gap between albums last time was two and a half years, which was because we got swept up in it and had no time, but now we’re constantly making music and new things…”
