Tidigare i år annonserades Ian Curtis hem ut till försäljning – vilket snabbt ledde till en insamling för att omvandla hemmet till ett Joy Division-museum. De planerna gick i stöpet trodde alla, men nu tycks det bli ett Joy Division-museum trots allt i Macclesfield. 77 Barton Street har sålts och köparen råkar vara entreprenören Hadar Goldman som uppges omvandla det till ett Joy Division-museum.
