Red Hot Chili Peppers jobbar på ny musik

Tänker följa upp mediokra I’m With You.

Under extremt lång tid har Red Hot Chili Peppers befunnit sig i rockens finrum – nu jobbar bandet  för en fortsatt medverkan. Efter att ha radat upp tidlösa och odödliga rockklassiker i över tio års tid möttes vi av en minst sagt blek framställning på 2011 års I’m With You. Trummisen Chad Smith kan i en intervju med Billboard bekräftat att bandet börjat spela in ett nytt album.

”It’s only been a couple of months, so we’re just starting to write and get in the groove of things” säger han följt av ”This is my favourite time, being creative, coming up with ideas. You go there at 11 o’clock with something that wasn’t a piece of music, everyone collaborates on something, three hours later you’ve got something that’s a piece of music that wasn’t there before.”
