Underskrifter ska göra Ozzy Osbourne adlad

Snart får vi kanske säga Sir Ozzy Osbourne.

Black Sabbaths frontfigur har genom åren varit en av rockens främsta röster. Ozzy Osbourne definierar ordet rock betydligt bättre än de flesta. Hans betydelse för musikens utveckling är bara en av många anledningar till varför Helen Maidiotis vill hedra honom med en adelstitel. Hon har sedan en tid tillbaka startat en insamling för att övertyga David Spooner, Honours and Appointments Secretariat, att adla rockikonen. Insamlingen har fått hela 21 000 underskrifter och avslutades nyligen. 

”I am campaigning for Ozzy Osbourne to receive a Knighthood, as he thoroughly deserves this honour not only for all his charity work but for all his years entertaining us and helping make a difference to peoples’ lives who have looked up to him for his strong will and determination to get through the many obstacles that he has come across and for that we thank you Ozzy! Helping to get him Knighted would be our gift to him.”
