Wilco har släppt ett nytt album

Det alternativa countrybandet Wilco släppte i natt sitt nya album Star Wars utan förvarning, gratis att ladda ner via deras hemsida. Det är bandets första album sedan 2011 års hyllade The Whole Love, och med sina endast 33 minuter är det deras klart kortaste hittils i karriären. Precis som The Whole Love släpps albumet via deras egna bolag dBpm. Via Facebook säger sångaren Jeff Tweedy:
”Why release an album this way and why make it free? Well, the biggest reason, and I’m not sure we even need any others, is that it felt like it would be fun. What’s more fun than a surprise.”
