Elton John gästar Queens Of The Stone Age nya album

Dave Grohl bekräftar ytterligare stjärnglans till Queens Of The Stone Age nya album.
Det har hintats flitigt om bandets uppföljare till 2007 års Era Vulgaris. Plattan som dyker upp i mars gästas av Dave Grohl bakom trumsetet men även Trent Reznor från Nine Inch Nails har ett finger med i spelet, likaså bandets forne bassist Nick Oliveri. Dave Grohl kommer med nya avslöjanden kring den efterlängtade plattan hos Chelsea Latelys late night show. Dave berättar bland annat följande:
”Recently, Elton and I recorded something together. Something that people wouldn’t imagine the two of us doing together”
Och Elton fyller i:
”I was in Vegas and I flew back to LA and Engelbert Humperdinck had written me a very sweet letter and asked me to sing a duet with him. He is part of my history and I couldn’t say no so I went and recorded a song with him. Then I drove three blocks and went from Engelbert to Queens Of The Stone Age, which was a bit of a mindfuck.”
