U2 snart klara med nytt album

Bekräftar att ett album är på ingång.

Ett av historiens mest inflytelserika rockband återvänder med nytt album och under de senaste månaderna har det spekulerats vilt kring U2:s storslagna återkomst. 2009 släppte de albumet No Line on the Horizon och nu pratar bandets bassist Adam Clayton med en irländsk radiostation om uppföljaren som tusentals väntar på. Som det ser ut nu behöver vi inte vänta allt för länge:

”We’re in the studio. We’re trying to get these 12 songs absolutely right and get them finished by the end of November, and then we can kind of enjoy Christmas.”

Tidigare har vi kunnat rapportera om att Chris Martin kan komma att gästa, om det stämmer återstår att se, om själva albumet avslöjar han dock följande:

”I think it’s a bit of a return to U2 of old, but with the maturity, if you like, of the U2 of the last 10 years. It’s a combination of those two things and it’s a really interesting hybrid.”
