Vampire Weekends ”mörka” tredjeskiva planeras släppas i vår

Vampire Weekend berättar om sitt nya mörka album som planeras släppas i vår.
Consequence of Sound rapporterar idag att Vampire Weekend har annonserat planer att släppa deras emotsedda uppföljare till Contra så tidigt som till våren. Albumet har ännu inget namn men i en intervju med Q Magazine kallar frontmannen Ezra Koenig plattan för ”dark”, ”organic” och säger att den ”really does feel like the third chapter in a book”. Han tillägger sedan följande: “We created some characters on the first record, some of which are real people, some of which are ourselves, so it’s not so hard to keep following them and see what their concerns are now and how their lives have changed.”
